If you are ready to train, prepare and defend, Skilled Sights has 4 class options for firearms and personal safety training. Although each class option is designed for a different skill level, they are structured so that the student can take them either in succession or as stand alone classes to meet the individual needs of the student.
Option 1
Non-Experienced Introduction
Getting to know your pistol. This class is designed for the beginning shooter with limited firearms experience. It is mainly interactive, hands-on training with very little lecture involved. If you have just purchased a pistol or have a pistol that you have not fired for years and would like some assistance shooting it, this class is for you.
2 hours. Bring your own ammo
(100 rounds).

Option 2
NRA Basic Pistol
The NRA Basic Pistol course introduces the student to the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely. This course covers, pistol parts, operation, ammunition, gun safety, pistol shooting fundamentals and shooting activities.
8 hour class. Bring your own ammo (100 rounds).

Option 3
Basic CCW
Teaches the basic knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to carry a concealed pistol for personal defense. This CCW Course is intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience. This instructor-led course gives you direct training from an NRA-certified instructor from beginning to end and conducted in a classroom and on a shooting range.
8 hour class. Bring your own ammo (100 rounds).

Option 4
Refuse to be a Victim
(Classes available April 2021)
One of the most important steps toward ensuring your own safety is having a personal safety strategy in place before you need it. NRA’s Refuse To Be A Victim® program teaches the tips and techniques you need to be alerted to dangerous situations and to avoid criminal confrontation. Today, thousands of federal, state and local law enforcement officials and civilians from across the nation utilize this popular program in their crime prevention and community policing initiatives to help protect their communities. Corporations, educational institutions, and community centers have also adopted the program.
